his year’s Pick a Bowl Fill a Bowl, which is Manna Food Banks largest 
fundraiser, was held at the Lou Ross Center at Pensacola State College. 
Pick a Bowl Fill a Bowl is an event that allows you to pick a one-of-a-kind, 
handcrafted bowl that was crafted by PSC Visual Arts Department and First 

City Art Center. After bowl selection, patrons are able to walk around and sample soup 
from many local chefs and restaurants. Each purchase of a bowl provides 24 meals to a 
neighbor in need. 

This year’s event was renamed in memory of Bill Clover. Clover was a Visual Arts 

professor for 52 years at Pensacola State College and help raised money to help hungry 
people in our community.
