W
hen VIP Pensacola launched the 2018 ballot
for Best In Pensacola earlier this year, we had
a party in mind. September 15 marked the
Second Annual Best in Pensacola Black Tie
Ball. It was not just a party – it was a grand celebration noting
the input of the many readers and fans who cast their ballots in
over 150 categories for Best In Pensacola. The stylish event was
a way to acknowledge the hard work by so many businesses and
individuals in the community.
The illustrious guests arrived in their finest eveningwear as
they walked the red carpet entering Scenic Hills Country Club.
Again, it was a first class evening from start to finish. The
exclusive, winners-only event included sponsors such as Iron
Plan Solutions Group, Inc., Thompson-Walden Insurance, Step
One Automotive, Just Judy’s Flowers, Powell Entertainment,
café NOLA, and Hummer 4 Hire. Cocktails were sipped as
friends gathered for a photo by Salz Studio or a fun photo op
in the photo booth by Pensacola Photo Booth. The wonderful
dinner was provided by Scenic Hills Country Club and winners
in each category crossed the stage as they were presented their
awards. Best In Pensacola winners also enjoyed an evening of
dancing with music by Pensacola Photo Booth. The evening was a
fabulous way to celebrate these businesses, service providers, and
professionals in our area. Be on the lookout for Best In Pensacola
voting in summer 2019 to vote for all of your favorites so we can
celebrate them at the 2019 Black Tie Ball.
