J

unior League of Pensacola hosted its 4th annual Evening In White on April 13.
This year’s secret location was Veteran’s Park located in downtown Pensacola.
The night opened up with the national anthem and presenting of the flags by NAS
Pensacola MATSG TEC 23 Color Guard to bring honor to Veteran’s

Park. This chic pop-up picnic-inspired party was started in Paris, France and

is a spontaneous event that has a secret location that is not revealed until the day of the
event. Everyone in attendance dresses in his or her most elegant and dapper white attire
and hopes to win best dressed of the night. Attendees brought white decorations and food
to set up their own table, or attend as a VIP member and had a table and food made from
local restaurants for them. While attending the event this year, guests were apart of a
live painting by Josh Greene. To add to the evening, you could also participate in a wine
pull to enter a chance to win the Wind Creek Basket and the Local Pensacola Experience
Basket. Featured at this year’s event, they had handmade specialty coffee drinks from
local coffee Mrs. Jones, commemorative wine glasses provided by Cask & Flight and a
dessert experience by Micko Franklin who is the head chef at Jacksons Steakhouse. The
enchanted evening was concluded with a wonderful sparkler send off.
