O
n March 2, Cokesbury Methodist Church hosted the 39th Annual
Pilot Club Pancake Festival for a morning full of smiles and full
bellies. The 39th Annual Pilot Club Pancake Festival helps raise
money for scholarships for local students. The local Anchor Club
members of schools come together to help out with the festival. They spend their
time giving back to the community by working in the kitchen, giving out the
pancakes and making sure everyone has refills on coffee and orange juice. Along
with giving out scholarships, the Pilot Club also donates money left over to local
agencies with brain-related disorders.
The morning was bright and lively with people of all ages. Even the local
law enforcement and fire department came to volunteer. Everyone there was
enjoying themselves, and of course the delicious pancakes. The Pensacola 39th
Annual Pilot Club Pancake Festival was very successful and great for the local
school community.
