51st Annual Art Students Honors 

Exhibition at PSC Switzer Gallery 

April 10-May 3

 
The 51st Annual Art Students Honors 

Exhibition is featured April 10-May 3 at 
Pensacola State College’s Anna Lamar 
Switzer Center for Visual Arts, Building 15, 
on the corner of Ninth Avenue and Airport 
Boulevard.

 Student work is faculty-selected and 

represents the fi nest examples of ceramics, 
drawings, digital images, graphic design, 
jewelry, painting, photography, sculpture and 
video produced over the past year.

 The exhibition is free and the public is 

welcome to visit the gallery from 8 a.m. to 9 
p.m. Monday through Thursday and 8am to 
4pm Friday. Tours are available with prior 
arrangements.

 The public also is invited to the award 

ceremony and reception at the Switzer Center, 
6-8pm Friday, April 28. This event honors 
students with scholarships and recognition 
highlighting their achievements throughout 
the year.

Blues Angel Music Blues on the 

Bay Series

The City of Pensacola Parks and Recreation 

Department, Community Maritime Park 
Associates and Blues Angel Music are excited 
to announce the lineup for the 2017 Blues 
Angel Music Blues on the Bay Summer 
Concert Series.

Concerts are held on select Sunday evenings 

at the Community Maritime Park Hunter 
Amphitheater when the Blue Wahoos are 
away. The series has become a popular event 
for locals and visitors to spend the fi nal hours 
of their weekend enjoying great music with 
family and friends in a great atmosphere.  

Blues Angel Music plans to give away 

numerous prizes to attendees at each 
performance and there will be a Grand Raffl e 
at the end of the series to raise funds for music 
education through the Blues Angel Music 
Foundation. The winner of the Grand Raffl e 
will be announced at the fi nal concert on 
August 20.  

Pack your coolers and bring your lawn 

chairs or blankets. Concerts are family 
friendly and concessions are available. Pets 
and glass containers are prohibited at the 
events.

Concerts begin at 6pm and are free.

Pensacola Museum of Art Offers 

Half-Price Sundays

The University of West Florida Historic 

Trust announces its Pensacola Museum of 
Art (PMA) is now open from noon to 4pm 
on Sundays. Tickets purchased during the 
Sunday hours are half-price.

“Half-price Sundays have been extremely 

popular at our T. T. Wentworth, Jr. Museum 
and our Pensacola Children’s Museum,” said 
Rob Overton, Jr., executive director of the 
UWF Historic Trust. “We are excited to offer 
Sunday hours and discounted admissions 
to locals and visitors as well as to add to 
the vibrancy of downtown Pensacola on 
Sundays.”

The PMA is located at 407 S. Jefferson 

Street in downtown Pensacola. Sunday 
admission is $3.50 for adults, $3.00 for 
military and dependents, seniors ages 65 and 
older, UWF Alumni Association members 
and AAA members, $2.00 for children ages 
3-14 and free for children under the age of 3.
