O

n Saturday, March 25, Hub
Stacey’s celebrated its 19th
anniversary. The celebration
started with a crawfi sh

boil, complete with all the side fi xing’s,
including corn on the cob and red creamer
potatoes. A plate cost around $10, and
included a healthy serving of the popular
dish. Live entertainment for the evening
was provided by the local Lektric Mullet
band. Krazy George rounded out the event
with karaoke starting at 9pm.

Hub Stacey’s is owned and operated by

Hub and Donna Stacey. The restaurant
has two locations, both featuring the “best
sandwiches in the area.” The downtown
location is centered between Government
and Alcaniz streets. It is among the favorite
lunch choices of the downtown business
crowd. The establishment is right across
the street from Seville Square, and is one of
the more frequent patron stops for anyone
attending Seville Quarter events.

“The Point” location is centered on

Galvez Road adjacent to Galvez Landing
in Perdido Key. The atmosphere here is a
bit different from the downtown location,
featuring a more laid back, peaceful
waterside element and a large deck.

Both locations offer smoking and non-

smoking sections, and feature seating both
inside and on the outside patio. Adequate
accommodation can be provided for large
parties and gatherings. The restaurant
is pet friendly as well, so bring your pup
along for the experience!
