uests took a sensory journey through Pensacola’s culinary history at the inaugural 
Repast farm-to-table style dinner for 200 right down the center of Palafox Street on 
Sunday, April 2. The sold-out event featured Pensacola Celebrity Chefs partnered 
with Pensacola Downtown Improvement Board, UWF Historic Trust and the 

University of West Florida Archeology Institute for this unique and unforgettable culinary 
experience, almost 450 years in the making. The event started with a reception followed by 
a four-course dinner including wine and local beers. Pensacola Celebrity Chefs included Irv 
Miller of Jackson’s Steakhouse, Dan Dunn of H2O at Hilton Pensacola Beach, Jim Shirley of 
The Fish House, Gus Silivos of Skopelos at New World, Frank Taylor of The Global Grill and 
Guest Chef David Penniman of Classic City Catering.
