he American Cancer Society, Making Strides Against Breast Cancer, Bethany
Lauren Productions, and Deluna Winery teamed up to host the Valentine’s
Masquerade Ball on February 14. The evening featured a selfie station, a
bar upon entry, buffet, and dancing. Staci Nelson and Vertical Pole Studio
performed a fantastic display of aerialist maneuvers for event-goers.
Additional entertainment was provided by fire throwing artist Matt Brazil and Thomas
Henriques from DJ MAS. Marquise Tamayo with Clever Coast helped create the event,
and Steve Brown made an incredible buffet consisting of baked beans, collards, pulled
pork, and over 100 pounds of ribs. Martic Ray Smith with Vista Event Productions and
to Matt Powell with Powell Entertainment helped with decorations and lighting for the
evening. Diana Taylor provided beautiful face painting of masks for guests.
A silent auction was hosted by The American Cancer Society and Making Strides for
Breast Cancer, along with a 50/50 raffle. Several wine baskets were donated, along with
gift certificates for Global Grill and Rodan and Fields, Fitbits, an Avon packet, a smart
watch, a radio sponsorship for advertisements, and a bath set.
