T

he Krewe of Daisy Dukes hosted
the 2018 Annual Thrillbilly
Ball at Captain Fun’s, on the
Pensacola Quietwater Beach

Boardwalk.

The evening started at 8pm, featured an

open bar, hors d’oeuvres, and a “Good ol’
country time.” Live entertainment was
provided by The Time Travelers. Attire was
Western Chic, and guests were invited to

bring their best cowboy boots and spurs. A
percentage of sales from the event went to
the Emerald Coast Refuge for Women. The
ladies in the krewe donated items for several
raffles throughout the night, including
Michael Kors handbags. An entry fee of
$60 provided guests access to their all you
can eat and drink table. Attendees were also
invited to share their photos on snapchat
and social media with a special filter for the

event.

The Krewe of Daisy Dukes was formed

by a group of like-minded women wanting
to promote unity and friendship throughout
the community. Formed in 2005, with just
a few members, the Krewe grew quickly to
become one of the most known Krewes out
there.  With line dancing in the streets, their
cowgirl hats and boots on, the Daisy Dukes
makes their presence known.
