T
his issue is a remarkably exciting one for Verla, Steve, and me
as we celebrate, with our entire team, the beginning of our third
year of providing you coverage of the Pensacola area’s finest
events, culture, and lifestyle. We have had such tremendous feedback
over the last twenty-four months and our foray into Pensacola has
been a very warm, welcoming, and rewarding experience.
When laying out our editorial calendar, we were challenged with
creating special sections for all twelve issues. When I say it was a
challenge, I only mean that it was tough to narrow it down to only
twelve since there are so many interesting and fascinating aspects to
showcase. One monthly section that we were proud to include in our
lineup is Luxury and Financial, which is part of this issue.
Luxury is defined as
the state of great comfort
and extravagant living.
Most people live a fairly
casual lifestyle these days
but Pensacola has an aura
of elegance and many
things that make the area
luxurious. That is part of
what keeps the area alive,
prosperous, and growing.
If you are not convinced that Pensacola offers an extravagant lifestyle,
just check our event coverage in this issue, particularly, Joint Mardi
Gras Ball, the Glenn Miller Orchestra, the Mall Ball, and others that
will make you think again. These events are on par with any of those in
larger, more cosmopolitan cities.
Whether you are living the life of luxury or have aspirations to do so,
our financial profiles will give you insight on where to find guidance
in meeting your luxury and financial goals.
Mardi Gras may be over and we are well into the Lenten season,
but you will find in our pages this month a recap of many of the great
memories that were made during Mardi Gras 2018. Our coverage of
these fun times will provide you some reflections of such a fun time as
you look toward spring.
As you flip through this issue (or any issue) of
VIP Pensacola, you
will see precisely how this city lives and supports the luxury lifestyle.
From an aesthetic and style perspective, to homes, cars, and boats, that
lifestyle is overtly apparent. But Pensacola best portrays the luxury
lifestyle through the philanthropy and the way the people here give
back through so many causes. We are so happy to be involved in many
of these causes and we look forward to providing you highlights from
them all.
