Gumbo YaYa Cook-off sponsored by Big Brothers/Big 

Sisters. The annual Gumbo cook-off in Phineas Phogg’s 
at Seville Quarter, amateur and professional teams will 
compete for bragging rights for the best Gumbo in 
Pensacola. The cost is $10 at the door with all proceeds 
going to Big Brother/Big Sisters. For more information,

Gumbo Cook-Off

Sample some of the best gumbo on the 

Gulf Coast at the Gulf Breeze Rotary’s 
eleventh annual Gumbo Cook-Off. Enjoy 
the live music, silent auction, raffl e and 
kid’s activities. Celebrity judges will name 
the Best Gumbo made by both private and 
restaurant teams, while the crowd will select 
the People’s Choice. Burger, beer and sodas 
will be available for purchase to help wash 
down the spicy fare, and children under the 
age of 8 eat free when accompanied by paying 
adults. The Gumbo Cook-Off supports Gulf 
Breeze Rotary’s college scholarship fund. 
The club has awarded more than $650,000 to 
deserving Gulf Breeze students over the past 
two decades, so come on out to help support 
your local students.

Grog March 

O’Riley’s Irish Pub

The 2nd annual Grog March pub crawl will 

be starting at O’Riley’s Irish Pub Downtown. 
Please bring any 2 non-perishable food items 
as a donation for Manna Food Pantries as 
your entry fee. Each crawler will be given 
a t-shirt while supplies last and a passport 
they can complete to be eligible for the raffl e 
at O’Riley’s later that night. Offi cial Grog 
March 22oz. mugs can also be purchased at 
the beginning of the crawl. The offi cial mug 
will grant you two discounted options to refi ll 
during the crawl. Please wear your best St. 
Patrick’s outfi t and we can paint Palafox green 
for one night.

Bayou Hills Run 
10K-5K-Kids Run

Bayview Park, East Hills

Great views, challenging courses, and a 

family-friendly atmosphere. Fun-seeking 
families and serious runners alike take to the 
streets of East Hill in Pensacola for the Bayou 
Hills Run, hosted by Creative Learning 
Academy. This event includes a 10k, 5k and 
One Mile Kids Run.

Medals and prizes are awarded for overall 

winners and fi rst, second, and third place in 16 
age categories for men and women.  There will 
be food, fun and more for the after-race party.
