Shelly Rosera - Bartender
Flora-Bama Yacht Club
How long have you been a bartender?
I have been bartending for 21 years.
When did you know that you wanted to
be a bartender?
I saw the soda gun, my dad had friends that
owned a bar and the soda gun used to be my
obsession.
What is your proudest accomplishment
behind the bar?
When I get to share and take part in my
customer’s lives.
Defi ne the perfect cocktail.
One that makes your mouth happy; not too
sweet, not too sour.
At the end of my shift I pour myself…
a vodka water or an Irish Car Bomb
If I wasn’t bartending, I’d be…
doing something that involves people.
What is your favorite drink & recipe?
My favorite drink is what I call a Pickin’ and
a Grinnin’, it’s equal parts Pickers Blood
Orange Vodka, Pickers Pineapple Vodka, a
splash of sprite, orange juice and cranberry.
