T
he King Richard Foundation hosted the 10th Annual Beauty by the Bay dinner and fashion show at the
Sanders Beach-Corinne Jones Center. Guests were invited to enjoy delicious food prepared by Family
Ty’s catering, great entertainment, a fashion show, and excellent door prizes. This year’s theme was
“Honoring The Past, Present and Future.” The Kind Richard Foundation awarded eight scholarships
ranging from $250 - $1000 to eligible candidates. The wonderful afternoon was filled with fun and good fellowship
as the foundation celebrated 10 years of serving individuals affected by autism and their families. All proceeds from
the event went to benefit the King Richard Foundation’s projects, which include several educational awareness
programs, and their unique “Send a Kid to Camp” opportunities.
The King Richard Foundation is a 501©3 non-profit organization dedicated to helping disadvantaged individuals
affected by autism, spectrum disorders, and other developmental diseases. Their primary mission is to support
low income families affected by these disorders by raising and allocating funds that will enable these individuals to
participate in education, therapeutic and recreational programs.
