Annual 
Perdido Key 
Wine and 

Art Festival took place 
at the Villagio Town 
Centre in Perdido Key 
on April 21-23. The 
festival was co-produced 
by Perdido Key Events 
and the Perdido Key Area 
Chamber of Commerce. Guests had the chance 
to taste a variety of local cuisine and wines. 
There was also local musicians and artists 
featured at the event. On each day of the festival 
attendees voted for their favorite food dish 
with the winner receiving the People’s Choice 
Award for Taste of Perdido. The winners of 
each day are automatically qualifi ed to enter 
the World Food Championships in November. 
The winners included Friday night’s champion, 

Wolf Bay Lodge, for 
their Gulf Shrimp in 
mild yellow curry with 
basmati and golden 
raisins. Saturday night’s 
winner was Driftwood 
for their Steak Diane. 
Sunday’s winner was 
Ronin with their 
Eggs Benedict with 

applewood smoked Jameson 

and coffee infused ham. 

For entertainment, Friday nights’ featured 

musician was Platinum Premiere Duo with 
artists Talis Jayme, Robin Tracey and Amanda 
Leeser. On Saturday night, the featured 
musician was Dave McCormick with artists 
Dennis Boyce, Cathryn Deal and Delia Stone. 
Sunday featured Frankie Golden with artists 
Lyn Gentry and Perdido Key’s own mayor, 
Noah Moseley.
