n Sunday, April 30, the Children’s Home Society held their 12th Annual Soundside
Splendor Benefi t at Portofi no on Pensacola Beach. This year’s honorary event chairs
were Mayor Ashton and An Hayward. Guests enjoyed gracious samplings of a
variety of foods and spirits prepared by local top local chefs from Pensacola area
restaurants. Guests had the opportunity to bid on many silent auction items as well as a fantastic
live auction. Proceeds from this event benefi t the Children’s Home Society. The Children’s
Home Society cares for thousands of children and families each year. They offer 10 programs
that fall into fi ve major categories: prevention and intervention, youth development services,
pregnancy prevention and counseling, adoption support, and individual and family therapy.
Their mission is to build bridges to success for children. Their dream is to create a world where
