VIP Pensacola at Seville Quarter

I

t was a lovely day to be at Seville Quarter when The Krewe of Sirens hosted the Kentucky
Derby Affair on May 6. The ladies and gentlemen that were in attendance wore their
fi nest Derby attire with most of the ladies in lovely hats and many of the gentlemen in
their best bowties. Later in the evening there was a contest for the best hat and the best

bowtie. There was also a prize for cutest couple. As the event started, everyone mingled and
listened to the Bayou Kings as they played lively music. There were big screen televisions
playing pre-derby shows. The ladies and gentlemen browsed the items that were available
for bid at the silent auction. The proceeds from the auction will go to “Go Red For Women”.
There was a buffet style meal available to those in attendance and later in the evening, there
was a viewing of the Kentucky Derby. Everyone was cheering on their favorite horse.
