he Studer Community Institute believes in improving
the quality of life for people, a bright future, and
their ability to build it together. To help inspire
others to take action and give them the skills to lead,

they created EntreCon. From November 14-16, the Studer
Community Institute held the Entrecon Business Conference,
which encourages businesses and employees to help build skills
and lead positively. The event took place in the Pensacola Little
Theatre, Museum of Commerce, and 5 Eleven Palafox buildings.

What began as an entrepreneur focused two-day conference has

quickly shifted, based on the demand from attendees, to one that is
a “must attend” for business owners, leaders, and employees alike.
World changing keynote speakers and dynamic local talent held

breakout sessions and short seminars during the event. Each day
showcased different keynote speakers, including Jon Gordon, Jim
Blasingame, Kristen Hadeed, Liz Jazwiec, Emily Ley, Kris Ann
Piazza, Kevin Sheridan, Bert Thornton, and Stewart C. Vernon.
Quint Studer was also featured in a breakout session, along with
several other local and regional business owners.

The EntreCon Awards were held at Skopelos at New World

Inn also which were presented by Cox Business to recognize the
achievements and economic impact entrepreneurs and businesses
have on our community. Categories for nominations included
Start-up Company of the Year, Family Business of the year, and
Most Improved Business of the Year.
