was fi lled with wine and food
enthusiasts for the 8th Annual
Seville Quarter Wine and Food
Festival, held on Sunday, November 18.
Seville Quarter hosted the event, in which
attendees enjoyed over 200 handpicked wines
from around the world served throughout the
beautiful and historic complex. The culinary
artists providing the food tastings included
Crabs on the Beach, Flounder’s Chowder
House, Frank and Lola Love Pensacola Café
at Margaritaville, George Artisan Bakery
and Bistro, Mike D’s Culinary Productions,
Seville Quarter, The Wine Bar on Palafox,
and The Butcher Shoppe. A special feature to
the festival was the Champagne and Oyster
Bar.
To round out the festival there was
be a Small Batch Bourbon Room and a
Tap Handle Takeover with handcrafted
microbrew beers. Top-notch entertainment
was provided from musicians from the Frank
Brown International Songwriters Festival.
All wines featured during the tasting were
available to purchase at special festival pricing
and admission included a $5 coupon towards
any purchase of wine.
Seville Quarter’s Bill Carson said, “If
you’re into drinking great wine from around
the world paired with local food, this is your
festival. This is the eighth year of Seville’s
Wine and Food Festival, and it is continually
growing. Our beautiful complex and
courtyards are the perfect setting.”
