n support of WSRE and in celebration of the highly
anticipated third season of VICTORIA, guests
were invited to enjoy a very special holiday high
tea. WSRE Jean & Paul Amos Performance Studio
hosted the Masterpiece Holiday Tea, followed by an early
screening of the first episode of the hit show Victoria on
Sunday, December 2, from 1-3 pm. Celebrated attendees
were encouraged to take a break from the holiday bustle
and gather with fellow Masterpiece fans to celebrate their
favorite period dramas from across the pond, and come
dresse, in Victorian apparel. A fine assortment of finger
sandwiches, sweet treats and hot teas were provided by
Graft Gourmet Bakery, Emerald Coast Tea, and Spice
and Tea Exchange.
The station holds several fundraisers throughout the
year, to help generate funding for programming, and
the Imagination Station located on the Blue Wahoo’s
campus. WSRE also provides a multitude of vital
learning resources the several counties in the Gulf Coast
area, including Escambia, Santa Rosa, Walton, and
Okaloosa. Their mission is to Educate, Entertain, and
Engage. Students from the Pensacola State College Music
Department Woodwinds Ensemble performed several
pieces for the enjoyment of the guests.
