ensacola Opera 
presented Glitz and 
Glam, The Opera 
Fashion Show on 

Tuesday, December 4, at 
Skopelos at New World. 
Guests were invited to enrich 
their opera and date night 
wardrobes with a luncheon 
fashion show which featured 
celebrity models, evening gowns, and 
cocktail dresses.  A unique pop-up vendor 
shopping area was available before the 
show with unique products from Asher & 
Bee Apothecary and Tea House, Jennifer 
Ponson Jewelry Design, Pandora de 
Balthazar Fine Linens, S & K Boutique, 
SoBo Boutique, Susan Campbell Jewelry, 
Bluetique, and Toad Hall Antiques and 
Gifts. An opportunity for early entry 
shopping was provided for special guests, 
and a first chance to bid on the silent 
auction.

Lunch was presented as Mollye Barrows 

Vigodsky emceed the fashion show. Jen’s 
Designer Deals, Chico’s, Bridal Loft, Bella 
Bridesmaids, and Randall’s Formal Wear 

were all presenting retailers, with featured 
dresses for many styles, sizes and occasions. 
Several local celebrity models walked in the 
show, including Mollye Barrows Vigodsky 
herself, David Dear, Dee Dee Davis, 
Michelle Salzman, Donna Clark, Eva 
Maloney, Pat Windham, Scott Remington, 
Jayde Herman, Kim Watson, Valerie 
Russenberger, Tia Robbins, Madrina 
Ciano, Lauren Hayward, and Stacy 
Robello. Proceeds from the fashion show 
benefited several educational programs 
the Pensacola Opera has implemented to 
increase awareness and accessibility to the 
Opera in area schools.
