What is your hometown, what brought you to

the Pensacola Bay area, and how long have you

been here?

I was born in Dalton, Georgia, the Carpet Capital of the

World, and have spent 20 years traveling the country,

learning about weddings and special events from

industry leaders. In October, 2006, I received a call from

Phillip Morris, who asked me to come to Pensacola to

assist with an event space. I was on contract to be in

Pensacola two months. That was eleven years ago.

What is your profession and give a brief

description of what you do.

In 2014, I joined the Innisfree Hotels family here at the

Hilton Pensacola Beach as the Director of Romance,

where I book and design weddings for all of our Innisfree

properties.  2018 will mark my 500th wedding on

Pensacola Beach.

What led you to choose this profession?

Hospitality has always been in my blood. I am southern-

after all. I was raised with a strong background in

marketing and sales from my father. Once I was able

to combine the creative aspect of planning and design

in conjunction with sales and marketing, it was a game

changer. Innisfree Hotels has given me the opportunity

to grow the wedding department here at the Hilton and

position ourselves as the leading wedding facility/team

on the Gulf of Mexico.

What do you like best about Pensacola? What

makes it so unique?

Pensacola’s old-world charm and historic vibe is

contagious to everyone who visits. The energy here is

infectious. Our community leaders have had growth and

prosperity at the top of the agenda for Pensacola’s vision.

I’m thrilled to introduce our intricate and beautiful

white sandy beaches to thousands of guests every year

from all over the country who are here for destination

weddings.

Give us three words that best describe you.

Tenacious, Organized, Sincere

Favorite Things you like about Pensacola.

The locals, the food, Mardi Gras, and the Beaches.

I AM PENSACOLA because…

On any given day you can fi nd me standing on the beach

watching the sunrise/sunset and greeting visitors with a

warm smile.
