The world-famous Glenn Miller Orchestra, a fully self-contained 19-member group, is the most 
popular and sought after big band in the world today. Since 1956, the band has been consistently

bands of all time as they bring unique jazz and big band sounds to the National Naval Aviation 
Museum.

This is the love story of Ethel and Norman 
Thayer, who are returning to their summer 
home on Golden Pond for the 48th year. He 
is a retired professor, nearing 80, and Ethel, 
10 years younger, is the perfect match for 
Norman. They are visited by their divorced, 
middle aged daughter and her fi ancé, who 
then go off to Europe, leaving his teenage 
son behind for the summer. The boy quickly 
becomes the “grandchild” the elderly couple 
have longed for.

courageous love of the Ethiopian slave, Aïda, 
for the Egyptian general, Radamès, is one of 
opera’s most powerfully tragic love triangles.
