VIP Pensacola at Paradise Bar and Grill

n January 12, the Mystic Krewe of Nereids of Pensacola Beach held their Annual 
King Cake Party at the Paradise Bar and Grill. The Mystic Krewe of Nereids is 
an all women krewe, and this is their 28th year supporting the Pensacola Beach 
community. The King Cake Party of the Nereids is a yearly celebration to help 

kick-off the Mardi Gras season. Lila and Jim Cox were announced as 2019 King and Queen, and 
were in attendance to take photos with and mingle with the rest of the crowd. A 50/50 raffl e was 
held, with proceeds benefi ting Dancingly Yours Dance School. The Mystic Krewe of Nereids 
truly enjoy helping give young girls an opportunity to attend dance school, and work together to 
give one lucky girl a scholarship. 

The Nereids also announced other upcoming events like the Moonpie Party at Bamboo 

Willies, on Saturday, February 9.
