With the Women of Impact 100
I
MPACT 100 Pensacola Bay Area hosted their first
Meet and Mingle event of the year on January 8 at
The Lee House downtown. Lots of excitement was
in the air with members gathering together to outline
the goals and direction the organization will be heading
throughout the year. Andy Caputi, President of Veterans
Memorial Park Foundation, delivered an inspiring speech
about the significance of IMPACT 100 after receiving their
second grant. President Brigette Brooks spoke about the
imprint each women’s contribution has on the community,
and stated that every single penny given goes right back
into the community. The Pensacola Bay Area IMPACT 100
Chapter is the largest chapter in the world.
IMPACT 100 Pensacola Bay Area had an amazing year
in 2018, awarding a record number of grants in the amount
of $100,300 each to 11 nonprofit organizations in Escambia
and Santa Rosa Counties. The 2019 Membership Season
for IMPACT 100 Pensacola Bay Area is underway and
members have been actively seeking continued support. The
membership season will be open until March 1.
