he 11th Annual Bag It &
Bubbles Luncheon for Pace
Center for Girls Escambia-
Santa Rosa was held on
Friday, October 19 at the Sanders
Beach-Corinne Jones Resource Center.
Vintage, gently loved, and new designer
handbags and auction packages were donated specifi cally for this event
by area fashionistas and local retailers. New and exciting additions for
this year included fabulous Silent Auction Packages, a Bubbles Bar
and Sparkling Wine Pull. The luncheon also featured an opportunity
drawing for a sparkling Swavorski Crystal paveed Judith Leiber Couture
Ombre Slim Slide Clutch. This women’s champagne and black 100%
crystal clutch featured gold-tone hardware, optional chain-link shoulder
strap, metallic gold-tone leather lining, logo placard at interior wall and
slide-lock closure at top, and was generously donated by Jewelers Trade
Shop. Refreshments and sweet treats
were provided by De Luna Coffee
International and Emerald Coast
Custom Cakes.
Each Opportunity Ticket was a
$50 donation to Pace Center for Girls
Escambia- Santa Rosa. The Bag It
Luncheon is attended by more than 200 women annually and raises
funds to support PACE’s mission to provide girls and young women
with an opportunity for a better future through education, counseling,
training, and advocacy. Laurie Rodgers, Regional Executive Director
at PACE Center for Girls Escambia- Santa Rosa, stated, “Every girl in
our community deserves the opportunity to fi nd her voice and achieve
her full potential. The support the center receives from the community
and through fundraisers, like Bag It and Bubbles, provides us with the
resources to help our girls become their best selves.”
