by the Wide Angle Photography Club, Inc. of Pensacola. It
is the largest photography show in the Florida Panhandle,
and the biggest annual single event by the Wide Angle Photo
Club to present our community with the art of photography.

Downtown Pensacola
The streets close down.
The lights come up. The
music plays. The streets
of Historic Downtown
Pensacola come alive for
Gallery Night. Galleries,
boutiques, restaurants,
and bars open their doors
to the night air as visitors and locals fl ood the streets
to enjoy music, art and cuisine. Café tables set out on
brick sidewalks are the perfect place to enjoy a coffee
or cocktail, as the sounds of live music and a spirited
crowd fi ll the air. Families linger in the downtown parks,
playing around the beautiful fountains and historic oaks.
It’s the perfect chance to get an inside look at
Pensacola’s lively downtown sector and thriving art
scene. Streets close to traffi c at 5:00pm but there is
ample parking available on side streets. The party
offi cially wraps up at 9:00pm, but most restaurants,
bars, and local businesses extend their hours to promote
the excitement of late night crowds.

Bring your blankets, chairs and picnic baskets then spread out on the lawn to
watch the movie underneath the stars. Movies are family-friendly and suitable for
all ages. Concessions are available and picnic baskets are welcome. Come hungry
because concessions are available from local food trucks! Picnic baskets are welcome
too, but no pets or glass containers please.
The next Movie in the Park is Sherlock Gnomes on September 14 at 7:00pm.
Saenger Classic Movie Series
Saenger Theatre

Each summer the Saenger screens classic movies with
tickets for only $5.00. Sit in the historic Saenger Theatre
and enjoy some of the greatest movies of all times on
the big screen, the way movies were meant to be seen.
The advance purchase of tickets is strongly encouraged;
however, the box offi ce will open each Saturday at 6:00 p.m. The August movie schedule is:
Aug. 4 Smokey and the Bandit, Aug. 11 Rear Window, Aug. 18 Wizard of Oz, and Aug. 25 The Sound of Music

Bands on the Beach
Gulfside Pavillion at Casino Beach | 7:00pm - 9:00pm
Enjoy live music while the sun sets over the Gulf of Mexico. Folks of all ages
set up their lawn chairs, blankets, and picnic baskets. Heck, some folks go all out
with tables, candles and fully prepped meals while enjoying the music. For those
less prepared, concessions and cocktails are available nearby. Whatever your style,
the venue’s beach backdrop, accompanied by a subtle island breeze, is hands down
unparalleled.Bands on the Beach takes place every Tuesday night through October.
