ewelers Trade Shop was established in Pensacola,

Florida, in 1956. The beautiful store is located

at 26 Palafox Place in the heart of Pensacola’s

___

thriving downtown. The store is unique because

three generations of family owners have established it as

one of the South’s finest luxury jewelry stores. Corbett

Davis, III, owner and president of Jewelers Trade Shop

explained, “Before my uncle Brad retired, there were

four family members working together and we all loved

it. The trust and the relationships we have built at the

store have always meant a lot to me. I love working with

my dad and wife. This may sound cliché, but I think

of our entire staff as family. We genuinely care about

one another and I know it is one of the qualities that

make us great!” The team recently decided to expand

with the addition of an in-house Rolex Boutique.

“This new in-store boutique will allow us to showcase

our Rolex models in an environment that perfectly

complements these legendary timepieces,” said Corbett.

Only the most exclusive jewelers in the world are Rolex

Authorized Dealers. Jewelers Trade Shop is the only

Rolex Authorized Dealer between Biloxi, Mississippi,

and Destin, Florida.

Corbett said, “It is an honor to be the only authorized

dealer in the area, but with the explosive growth

Rolex has had over the last 12 to 24 months, I doubt

we’ll be the only one in this area for long. We were

in business for about 40 years before we were able

to become a dealer.” Corbett began working in the

store full time after college and has seen the impact

that becoming a Rolex dealer 20 years ago has had on

the business. “Rolex is much more than a timepiece

manufacturer. They are also an organization that places

a heavy emphasis on giving back to communities and

individuals,” described Corbett. “I remember after the

September 11 attacks, how Rolex stepped up in a big

way. They gave millions and millions to scholarships,

but the majority of their contributions remained

unpublicized. Rolex has ensured that their founding

principles have always included philanthropy, but they

are sincere about their contributions. They do it for the

right reasons, not for PR. I appreciate that.”

The construction on the in-house boutique is

complete and Rolex helped design the entire project to

ensure a consistent environment amongst their dealers.

The boutique is constructed of high-end materials

including natural stone, marble, raked limestone, and

leather to match the luxury of the watches. The glass

and locks are incredibly high tech and secure and the

watch displays even have tracking devices built into

them that have to be disabled at purchase. If not, a

silent alarm is sent directly to the police department

SWAT team. Jewelers Trade Shop has no plans of

slowing down. “We recently returned from a great

jewelry show in Las Vegas where my wife, Sarah, and I

met with David and Sybil Yurman and Roberto Coin,”

Corbett said, “We spent days searching and searching

for the newest trends and the most perfect diamonds

and colored stones.” This trip and the expansion have

inspired the whole team, so be on the lookout for some

exciting events coming up soon and all of the new things

Jewelers Trade Shop has in store for the future.
