Gulf Coast Title in 2017, a business that has enjoyed
its own success in the area for many years and has been
turning this vision into a reality. “It is incredibly exciting
to be at a place where I am at the helm and charting my
own course with this newest endeavor.”
Putting into action one of his favorite sayings, “a rising
tide floats all boats,” Owen has hand-picked a team of
professionals who have built and enjoyed successful
practices not only in the title industry, but also in the
complementary industries of real estate sales, commercial
real estate development, law, banking, and finance.
Gulf Coast Title’s business development team partners
with agents and lenders to help grow their businesses
to everyone’s benefit. The transaction team is led in
both locations by licensed title agents, each of whom
has more than 30 years of title industry experience.
The professionals at Gulf Coast Title join Owen in his
unwavering dedication to providing a “white glove”
concierge closing experience and to going the extra mile
to ensure our clients’ success. Together, with the shared
vision of creating an unparalleled closing experience, the
new Gulf Coast Title aims to deliver not only the best in
title and closing services to the Emerald Coast, but also to
help all its partners deliver the best to their clients.
Owen’s excitement for the direction of Gulf Coast Title
and its clients is intimately intertwined with his ongoing
passion for his community. “Being at this place in my
voyage has brought my family so much closer to the things
we love, and to be able to be a part of this professionally
as well makes it all so much more meaningful and
satisfying.” He has always had an overarching desire to
contribute to the growth and vibrancy of his community,
and he is putting that into practice here. He brings that
same optimism and enthusiasm to all aspects of his life,
and that, coupled with the expectation that success is
contagious, sets him and his business apart.

the sale of it to Brett-Robinson. He then joined Brett-Robinson
as General Counsel to guide the permitting process of the $245
million Phoenix West II 32 story, 358-unit condominium project,
which took more than two years.
Upon successful permitting of the project, Owen was off on
another course. He served as General Counsel and Director
of the Community Economic Development Initiative for the
Community Foundation of South Alabama where he helped
secure and then managed a substantial grant from the Ford
Foundation, one of only twelve such grants in the United States.
The Initiative provided matching grants to numerous housing
development projects in the region. “Helping provide housing for
people and seeing directly what an incredible difference it makes
in their lives has been one of the most rewarding experiences in
my life.”
Most recently Owen served as General Counsel in a highly
successful and fast-growing regional title company based in
