What is your hometown, what brought you to The Emerald

Coast and how long have you been here?
I am a citizen of the world, having lived in Europe as a teenager.

I’ve also lived in  various parts of Southern California, Virginia,

Arkansas, and South Carolina. We’ve been in Pensacola since

1987 when I married a retired Navy man.

What is your profession and give a brief description of what

you do.
I am a Realtor® with the #1 independent, locally owned realty

company, Levin Rinke Realty, Inc. I’ve been with them for the past

11 years. I’ve done a variety of things during my decades on this

earth, but at this stage in my life, real estate is a natural fi t. I love

working with my customers and stand by my motto: My priorities

are simple - they’re YOURS! Working with a customer through

the buying/selling process is exciting and a wonderful way to

connect with the community.

What are a few of your special accomplishments?
I truly believe it’s the responsibility of all of us to be involved

in the communities in which we live and work. I am currently

Chairman of the Board of the Gulf Coast Citizen Diplomacy

Council of the International Visitor Leadership Program of the

U.S. State Department. I’ve twice served as Chairman of the

Board of the Gulf Breeze Area Chamber of Commerce and was

recognized for service to the community by being named

2008 Volunteer of the Year and was recognized as a Community

Difference Maker by the Gulf Breeze News. I also served as

Chairman of the Board of National Council on Alcohol and Drug

Dependence of North Florida (NCADDNFL) for many years. In

that capacity I met with Congressional leaders in Washington,

D.C. to discuss parity in health care with an emphasis of doing

away with the stigma of chemical dependence and mental

health issues.
In addition, I produce and direct Joy For the Beach – a holiday

concert I created in 2004  to bring joy to the community. It has

become quite a popular even kicking off the holiday season!

What do you like best about Pensacola? What makes it

unique?
The history. We’re the fi rst European settlement, that brings an

amazing vibrancy to our town!

I can’t get through the day without…
MUSIC!
