What is your hometown, what brought you to The
Emerald Coast and how long have you been here?
I was born and raised in Little Chute, a small town in
Wisconsin, and I came to Pensacola the fi rst time in 1981
when I was serving as a nurse at the Naval Hospital,
Pensacola. I got off active duty in 1985 and remained in
the Navy in Pensacola as a reservist, and I have raised all my
children in Pensacola.
What is your profession and give a brief description of
what you do.
I have been licensed to sell real estate in Florida since 1979
and became a broker in 1984. I have pursued real estate
investments and sales full time since 1985 and I started 2
real estate companies in Pensacola. I currently own and
am a principal for Realty Masters of Florida, which is a full
service Real Estate and Property Management Company
that has been in business since 1998. My company currently
manages approximately 1000 rentals and 30 Condo and
Homeowners Associations as well as has an active sales
team.
What led you to choose this profession?
I chose to be in the real estate business because I have
a passion for helping people fi nd the right home, I also
have been investing in rentals and have done several fl ips
over the years and have helped others do the same. I love
working with people to help them with their investment
portfolio to show them how to create passive income using
real estate.
What are a few of your special accomplishments?
I raised 3 children, 2 girls and a boy, who now work with me
in the real estate business, I achieved the rank of Captain
in the Navy and retired from the Naval Reserve in 2003. My
most recent accomplishment was writing a book titled:
The
Real Estate Rule Book: How to Build Wealth and Create
Passive Income, which has recently been published by
Indigo River Publishing.
