Big Brothers Big Sisters of
Northwest Florida Announces
Partnership with Krewe of Hip
Huggers

Big Brothers Big Sisters is excited to

announce a partnership with Krewe of
Hip Huggers this coming year. Their
philanthropic focus on service will assist Big
Brothers Big Sisters in impacting Littles’
lives.

The partnership will begin with a back to

school collection drive, during which time the
Krewe will purchase a backpack stuffed with
school supplies, a pair of shoes, and socks for
50 Littles in our program. After that, Hip
Huggers will do multiple activities including
our Littles, such as a holiday event in
December, and a spring event around Easter.

“Many of the children in our program

come from low-income, or single parent
households,” says Big Brothers Big Sisters of
Northwest Florida President and CEO Paula
Shell. “For some, their families don’t have
the means to get them new school supplies
or shoes at the start of each school year. Hip
Huggers will be donating supplies to ensure
our Littles go to school prepared this year.”
“We are excited to give back to Big Brothers
Big Sisters of Northwest Florida,” says Krewe
of Hip Huggers President, Suzie West.
