K
eaton (Palmer) Fox was raised in Pensacola, Florida, by her loving family. She
attended West Florida High School and the University of West Florida earning
her degree in professional biology. While attending college Keaton worked under
the direction of Dr. Barry Stein at Pearle Vision, which set her on the path of opticianry.
After completing her degree, she continued working in the optical fi eld under the
direction of Drs. Spear and Dr. Anderson at Sight and Sun EyeWorks and completed her
apprenticeship earning her license in opticianry. She has gone on to advance her license
by becoming board certifi ed; allowing her to work more closely with contact lens patients.
Keaton holds the position of President of the Pensacola Chapter of Professional Opticians
of Florida and holds a seat on the Board of Directors of Professional Opticians of Florida.
Keaton’s dream was to open her own practice where she
could offer patients the best care for their unique cases
and bring the latest contact lens treatments available to
Pensacola. That dream was realized in January 2018 with
the opening of Midtown Dental and Vision. Her passion
lies with the use of contact lenses to improve patients’ lives
and slow corneal disease.

r. Lindsay
Durtschi was
born and
raised in Jacksonville,
FL. She graduated
from Palm Beach
Atlantic University
in 2003 with her
bachelor’s degree in
Musical Theatre and
Communications.
After several years
pursuing the life of an
artist, Dr. Durtschi
began to feel a pull
towards Optometry
and the visual sciences.
Through a series of
very fortunate events,
she was lucky enough
to attend the Southern
College of Optometry
in Memphis, TN.
After graduating,
Dr. Durtschi moved
directly to Pensacola,
FL, with her growing family. She has found Pensacola to be a
wonderful city to raise her children and build a business.
Dr. Durtschi enjoys staying active in her community and meeting
new faces. Her professional affi liations include: Board of Trustees
for the West Florida Optometric Association, Florida Optometric
Association and COVD (Colleges of Optometrists in Vision
Development). She is also very passionate about her membership
with the Junior League of Pensacola and remains very active with
the philanthropic work they do locally and nationally for women and
children. Above all else, she enjoys spending time with her daughters
and husband, loves summer days by the pool at the Pensacola Yacht
Club and exploring all that the Panhandle has to offer.
