A

holiday tradition in Dothan is Music South’s annual Holiday Concert & Gala Dinner.
This year’s event, held December 12 at the Dothan Civic Center, marked its 38th year
with more than 450 in attendance.

One of the things that sets this night apart from the other Music South’s events is the pre-show

gourmet buffet dinner and special performance by local favorite, The Moonlighters.

The main concert consisted of Christmas favorites performed by The Atlanta Pops Orchestra

with acclaimed vocalist Chloe Agnew.

Maestro Jason Altieri, the current music director of the Atlanta Pops Orchestra, is also the

associate conductor for the Reno Philharmonic and has conducted in major performance venues
in the U.S. and Asia.

Chloe Agnew was 2012 Female Vocalist of the Year at the Irish Music Awards and was an

original member of Celtic Woman, an internationally acclaimed music group.

There were also guest appearances by Irish tenor Dermot Kiernan & Riverdance Alum Scott

Porter.

This event was sponsored by Susan Fischer, Mercedes Benz of Dothan, Family First Funeral

Care and House of Flowers.
