ACOM SimComp results

The Alabama College of Osteopathic Medicine (ACOM) held its annual Simulation Competition (SimComp) on Saturday, November 11. Last year, a team

of second-year ACOM student won both the national and international tournaments. A record 12 teams competed at ACOM’s SimComp for the opportunity to
represent the college at the national SimChallenge competition in Washington, DC in the spring. First place was awarded to the Nothin’ but Netters team. Second
place was awarded to The Caffeinators. Both teams will advance to the national competition to defend ACOM’s title.

Selma Street Elementary

Selma Street Elementary had a Holiday

Spirit Challenge this week, where staff
members grouped together and came
up with a theme in which to dress. The
students enjoyed seeing their teachers and
principals costumes!  The staff put on a
parade for the students at the end of the
day.
