VIP Dothan at the Troy-Dothan Campus

T

roy University announced the plans for their upcoming construction project Thursday.
The Coleman Center for Early Childhood Learning and Enrichment will be the newest
addition to the Dothan Campus. The university plans to start construction in the

Spring of 2018. Once complete, the 12,000 square foot facility will be one of a kind, not only in
Alabama, but in the nation as well. Troy University officials believe that the approach to pre-K
programs and training, which will take place at the Coleman Center, will become a model for
other programs across the country.

Troy University partnered with the City of Dothan and the local business community to make

this project possible. The name of the facility directly reflects the significant role the business
community has played. Jeff Coleman, president and CEO of Coleman World Group, has been
heavily involved in the project since its inception. With this latest endeavor, Troy University
continues to be on the leading edge of advancements in education.
