racticing law is a rewarding profession
and Attorney Jane Kerrigan decided
to practice law in a place that is just
as rewarding to her and for her family--the
world’s most beautiful coast.
Jane has experience in many facets of the
law, but she found her initial focus area when
she began assisting individuals and families
in planning for their futures and the futures
of their children and loved ones. In order to
better serve her clients, Jane returned to school
to obtain her masters of law in taxation from
the University of Alabama School of Law. Jane
focuses this practice area in Estate Planning,
Elder Law, Long Term Care, Medicaid,
Health Care Directives, Financial Directives,
and Asset Protection.
In addition to the above practices Jane also
has a primary focus in the area of community
association law. She covers the spectrum of
legal counseling of condominium associations,
cooperatives, time shares and homeowners
associations. She plays an integral part of
the team assisting the board of directors and
management whether preparing for and
conducting meetings, answering questions
about documents and any pertinent law to
include enforcing covenants and restrictions
and also, drafting and negotiating contracts for
the association’s continuing development and
its services.
