The Market Shops invites the community
to “sip, shop and shimmy” to the tunes of
local musicians. Pop & Shop will take place
throughout the center from 5:00pm - 7:00pm.
Participating merchants will be offering
event specials, giveaways and refreshments
for shop-goers. The event is complimentary
to attend and was created to help spread
the word about the all-local shopping
center’s impressive merchant portfolio while
showcasing local live music in the Gazebo
Courtyard.

Burning Up the Beaches
Destin Commons
This event brings some of the fi nest classic cars
EVER seen! Burning Up the Beaches begins on
Thursday with an Early Bird registration party
and ends on Saturday with an all-day car show
open to the public. On Friday, all registered
participants will enjoy a poker style run cruising
to local hot spots, ending with the infamous
Friday night themed party with costumes, games, raffl es, music, hors d’oeuvres and prizes. On
Saturday, the public is invited out to the largest classic car event in the area, all for free. At
5:00pm all participants are treated to “A Taste of the Commons” with dinner provided by
Destin Commons, a live band and a draw down to thousands of dollars in cash and prizes.

3rd Annual Derby Party
Join the Junior League of the Emerald Coast for an evening of
high fashion and hats at The Derby Party. This fundraising event
will feature a live showing of the running of the 143rd Kentucky
Derby along with a silent auction, horse raffl e, contest for the best Derby hat and much more!
Guests will enjoy classic mint juleps and cocktails, southern-style fare and live music and
dancing. If you can’t make it to Churchill Downs, join us at the Derby Party!
