helter House recently presented
Palate & Palette, a five-course dinner
and live painting performance with
artist Jon Moody. The featured chefs

for the evening included: Nikhil Abuvula of
Roux 30A, Tim Creehan of Cuvee 30A &
Destin Ice Market 30A, John Engle of  The
Gulf, Jack McGuckin of Bijoux and famed
local chef Dan Pettis. Wines from Krutz
Family Cellars were paired with the dinner
selections.

Artist Jon Moody, whose work has been

seen on the hit television show “Empire”
as well as recognized by the White House,
created a piece of art in front of the audience
while they dined.

The evening kicked off with a Bourbon

and Brews Hour featuring selections from
Grayton Beer Company and Timber Creek
Distillery. Next was the tantalizing five-
course dinner while Moody transformed
his canvas as artful entertainment. Ending

the evening was the live auction where the
one-of-a-kind piece created during dinner
was sold for charity. Shelter House offers a
special thanks to the premier sponsor Dion
Moniz and the team of Emerald Coast Title
service. Shelter House is a non-profi t center
serving domestic and sexual violence victims
