architecture, sometimes just playing in the
sand brings something new and creative,”
described Rick.

The Emerald Coast is one of the few

locations in the world where Professional
Sand Sculpting is offered and business is
blossoming for these sandy partners, with
2016 as their busiest year yet for marriage
proposals. “Working hard for something
we don’t care about is called stress; working
hard for something we love is called
passion”, said Simon Sinek. This is exactly
what Rick and Capri have done on The
Emerald Coast and they are continually
spreading their joy. Annually, Beach Sand
Sculptures hires 20+ full-time seasonal

Sand Castle Coaches from Fort Walton
Beach, Destin, South Walton, and Panama
City Beach. Rick said, “Being a Sand Castle
Coach brings personal satisfaction, the
intrinsic value is through the roof! How
many jobs can nearly guarantee that unique
intersection between doing something
you are good at, being appreciated, and
making people’s lives better.”

They also do team building events for

both national and local companies that
involve creating some priceless fun through
“Sandvertising”, large corporate logo sand
sculptures. Communication and team
building principals are conveyed while
working together as a team to create Sand

Castle Success. Working as a husband and
wife team has gotten them further than they
ever could have imagined, each bringing
their own unique talents to the table. Rick
is the artist and engineer, while Capri is the
thinker and promoter. This dynamic duo has
worked hard to build Beach Sand Sculptures
into the largest Sand Castle Lesson
Company in the world, one grain at a time.
Rick and Capri say, “It’s just sand and water,
but the magic that happens by mixing them
together in a Sand Castle Lesson becomes a
priceless experience!”

“The variety of different things we see while

traveling often bring inspiration. Art, nature,

architecture, sometimes just playing in the

sand brings something new and creative”
