t was a full weekend of partying at Pepito’s Mexican Restaurant during Cinco 
de Mayo. Dubbed Pepito’s de Mayo, restaurant-goers partied like there was 
no tomorrow. There were drink specials offered all day, with Patron and Down 
Tequila Shots to get people in the dancing mood while DJ MCKC and DJ Deyjam 

brought the house down with Latin hits and top 40 tunes. The fiesta continued through 
the weekend, celebrating what traditionally marks the Mexican army’s 1862 victory over 
France at the Battle of Puebla during the Franco-Mexican War.
