T

he weather was just about perfect for the fi esta thrown on
May 5, AKA Cinco De Mayo, at the HarborWalk Village.
Families with all ages of children gathered to take down
and collect the harbor’s largest piñata- and boy, did they

succeed! Filled with candy and treats, it was sure no one left empty
handed. The piñata met its match at 3pm as the crowds gathered.

After the goodies were released, most hung around for the ultimate

dance party. Visitors truly of all ages gathered on the big stage located at
the HarborWalk Village and got their boogie on. For those not into the
dance scene, beer samplings from Pacifi co were available. Along with
that, free tacos provided by Jackacudas were for the taking, as well as an
awesome “photobooth” donated by Mingle30A. Crafts and the option
for face painting were just a few more of the awesome activities going
on during the event. Other than those extras provided by HarborWalk
Village, the great amenities and attractions of the harbor were, of
course, available as well. Some include glass blowing, retail shops, other
restaurants, and even a zipline.
