O
n Friday, May 5, Cantina Laredo presented their annual Cinco De
Mayo festivities in Grand Park, which is adjacent to the restaurant. The
celebration featured live music, lawn games, dancing, and authentic
Mexican food and drink. This was a free admission event hosted by the
Grand Boulevard Town Center and it was kid- friendly! Between 4 and 6pm, the
Abrakadoodle Art Education and Parties of Northwest Florida provided free face
painting and arts and crafts. The Bankwalkers took the stage at 7pm and provided
local entertainment for the evening. Attendees were encouraged to bring their own
chairs and blankets to get comfortable and enjoy the festivities.
