hursday, June 21, proved to be an unusual time at a Chamber Business after Hours 
event as everyone was a winner! The Greater Fort Walton Beach Chamber of 
Commerce held their monthly Business After Hours at the Air Force Enlisted 
Village in Shalimar. The event was hosted by the Silver Slipper Casino Hotel. Most 

attendees stated this event was always one of the year’s most popular because of the great food, 
drinks, and prizes, and there were no disappointments. Guests had a great time with colleagues 
and friends while networking in a casual and festive atmosphere.  

All those who put their cards in the bowl at sign in won a hundred dollar free play at the Silver 

Sipper Casino. Three sets of 2-night stays were awarded and the grand prize of a thousand 
dollars free play was won by Christine and Don Davidson from Errand Catchers. Baxter Lee 
of Silver Slippers said he was excited to be a part of the day’s event and was there to give each 
member of the audience a chance to experience what Silver Sippers has to offer.
