n June 20, Ruth’s Chris Steak House and Proffi tt PR 
hosted a fundraiser for their very own server, Jimma 
Grimm. She’s been part of the community since 1989 
and part of the original team at Ruth’s Chris since 

opening in 2006. Unfortunately, she was recently diagnosed with 
stage two breast cancer and since March has undergone surgery 
and radiation treatment. All of the money that was donated will go 
directly to her medical and living expenses through this time. 

During the silent and live auctions directed by Luxury Estates 

Auction Company, over the top, delicious hors d’oeuvres and live 
music by Michael J. Thomas were presented in the courtyard. 
With about 60 items at the auction, over $20,000 was raised for 
Jimma. Mike Sable, Ruth’s Chris’ General Manager, along with 
Jimma commented on the turn out of the event saying, “We are so 
overwhelmed with the response and generosity of the community. 
Destin is such a wonderful place to be.” It truly is with such a big 
support system, even with plenty of space in the beautiful courtyard, 
it still fi lled with friends and family eager to help Jimma.
