Michael worked as a Financial Planner from 1998 to 2002 where he 

enjoyed helping clients make long-term fi nancial decisions. After the 
downturn in the stock market during the 1990’s, he decided to make the 
move to the Mortgage industry where he could continue to help families 
make major fi nancial decisions as well as enjoy the excitement of home 
ownership. Michael said, “I wake up every day excited about my job. 
Knowing I will be able to help someone achieve home ownership is one 
of the most rewarding things I have ever done. We have everything from 
the fi rst time homebuyer to the retired person buying their dream home 
on the water. No matter if it is their fi rst time or the fi fth time, there is 
that excitement of buying the house and that is awesome to be part of.” 

As an involved member of this community, Michael and his wife, 

Tonya, are a part of several different organizations and local charitable 
events. Michael also serves on the board for Okaloosa Walton Mental 
Health Association. This beautiful area we are lucky to call home is 
also home to a large military community and Michael is thankful to be 
able to work with some of them. “Since 2002 I have concentrated on VA 
Mortgages and helped thousands of military families buy their homes 
here on the Emerald Coast,” he described. “Currently I would say that 
65% of all of our business is still for an active duty military member or 
retired veteran. We love to do anything we can to help our military buy 
a home and feel it is the least we can do for the sacrifi ces they have made 
for us.” Bank of England is described as professional, experienced, 
and committed. These are all qualities that Michael embodies as well. 
Michael explains, “I love people, and I love positive people the most. 
I try to be a great role model by encouraging people around me to cut 
negative people out of their lives and to strive to be a better person. I 
hope this pushes them to new levels in their lives.”
