T

he Little Black Dress Party was an evening of high fashion with the
ladies wearing beautiful black dresses and the gentlemen wearing
nicely tailored jackets with a black tie. The event was held on May
19 in the Magnolia Ballroom at Sandestin Golf and Beach Resort.

White-Wilson Community Foundation (WWCF) hosted the event in its 9th
season this year. The theme for this year’s event was “A Hollywood Black Tie
Affair.” This award-winning event raised funds for WWCF’s community
health initiatives and to provide preventive care and support to the under
privileged in our community.

Chris and Ewa Ruyan served as the Honorary Chairs for this year’s 9th

annual celebration. The couple urged attendees to give generously because
all of the proceeds were going to the some of the most vulnerable in our
community, and also thanked the sponsors whose participation made this
year’s event a huge success.

The Little Black Dress Event has previously been voted Best Event on the

Emerald Coast, and they have raised over $400,000 to support community
health initiatives. The night featured live and silent auctions, providing
generous guests the opportunity to dig deep into their pockets and purses. A
buffet style dinner was available for the guests to indulge and entertainment
was provided by Amanda McArdle.
