reater Fort Walton Beach Chamber of Commerce held their First Friday 
Coffee on December 7 at the First Baptist Church in Fort Walton 
Beach. The event was sponsored by Fort Walton Beach Medical Center. 
The monthly breakfast meeting is the largest regular networking event 

in Okaloosa County, where each month a different member or organization sponsors 
the event. It’s also the place to learn about what’s going on in the community, 
network, and have a great time.  

The December networking event was filled with the holiday spirit. There was a 

holiday hat contest where contestants wore some very creative headgear. The most 
creative was Tracy Williams, the executive Director of UMCH, who won the hat 
contest. Executives from Fort Walton Beach Medical Center also took turns giving 
attendees information in chronological order of the establishment in a story telling 
fashion.
