Newlyweds of Destin

I woke up on the morning of April 13, 2018, to marry Scott Boone.

The bridesmaids and I started the day with my bridal breakfast and
mimosas. During this breakfast I had the blessing to hear from each
one of them about our individual friendships… and I will never forget
this moment. I mention this because I have never felt so loved as I did
on my wedding day. The rest of the day we hung by the pool and got
ready as we needed. I did not have my hair or makeup professionally
done as I wanted a bridesmaid to do it, that seemed more special
to me. When 3 O’clock rolled around it was time for Scott and my
first look on the front porch of The Wesley Mansion located on the
property of Eden Gardens State Park. We chose this location together
long before we got engaged. Scott took me on a date here early in
our relationship and right away we knew that one day... this would be
the place! We wanted a very timeless and classic yet bohemian feel for
our wedding. We accomplished this with the help from our florist and
event design by Florals By The Sea. Everything was white (including
my bridesmaids dresses which they picked out themselves) with pops

of wicker and natural greens. Palms, classy sitting areas, and candles
surrounded our black and white checkered dance floor and band.
Our main goal for our wedding was good music and good times for
everyone… that’s why a 10 piece horn band was necessary! Everyone
loved the glow up tambourines and New Orleans style beads on the
dance floor as well.  Our wedding flow was very under the radar –our
first dance to Into The Mystic by Van Morrison, the cake cutting, the
champagne pouring, etc., as we wanted this all to be very intimate.
Our reception was all around magical. I don’t even know how to put
it in to words… it was SO.MUCH.FUN. and there was zero stress
involved. At the end of the evening, we had our send off and we drove
away in an old hunter green Bronco! This was surely the icing on
the cake. But the fun didn’t stop there, it couldn’t! We continued to
celebrate the next day out on Grayton Beach with 200 of our best
friends and family. This is where we finally had our bouquet and garter
toss. The wind was not in favor of many, to say the least! But as for
the Boones, we sure are happy.
