off with a champagne bar garnished with lavender
sprigs. The family’s best friend, a local contractor,
worked tirelessly to build a large 16 foot cross,
which was the focal point of the wedding ceremony.
The Pastor at Destin United Methodist, the church
Emily Kyle grew up in, officiated the ceremony. As
Emily Kyle and Austin recited their vows to one
another while looking out over the Bay, the presence
of God surrounding them was undeniable. Two of
Emily Kyle’s grandmothers passed away just before
the wedding, but their spirit was felt throughout the
day. Sally LaCourse with Florals by the Sea designed
a huge floral bouquet that adorned the cross and
provided a spot for two blue birds to perch all day
long. Goosebumps were felt during the wedding
ceremony when the harpist from Top Hat Live &
Erin Hagans played “On Eagles Wings” as two eagles
circled overhead and dolphins appeared in the bayou!
Every little girl plays dress up as she dreams
of her wedding gown and Emily Kyle knew she
wanted something clean and classic. She said yes
to a timeless A-line Essense of Australia gown from
Bel Fiore Bridal on a special weekend in Atlanta
alongside her mother and maid of honor. With a boat
neckline, a scoop back and delicate covered buttons,
she was the epitome of bridal beauty. While getting
ready, the bride surprised her mother by wearing
the veil she wore on her wedding day and her
grandmother, Nana, even wore the same dress she
wore to her daughters’ wedding. The bridesmaids
perfectly complemented Emily Kyle in gorgeous
champagne rose Carmen Valvo high-low gowns. The
groomsmen wore navy blue suits rented through
Black Tux that were offset with coral and green
