L

ightwire Theatre’s A Very Electric Christmas, proudly presented by Northwest
Florida Ballet, brightened up the holiday season of guests who attended the Lightwire
Theater event at the Destin Methodist Life Center on Friday, December 22. The
electrifying and sold out event was dynamic and entertaining. Audiences of all ages

enjoyed the magical and captivating performance.

The plot was a wonderful story of Santa’s helpers who were putting the fi nal touches on

presents as a young bird named Max and his family headed south for the winter. Poor Max gets
blown off course during a snowstorm, and he ends up alone and lost at the North Pole. As he
tries to make his way home, his adventure begins when he encounters friendly caroling worms,
dancing poinsettias, nutcracker soldiers, mischievous mice, and an evil Rat King. This delightful
holiday production made children wide-eyed with delight.
